Learning Stages is a non-profit theater community located in Gloucester County, whose mission is to educate and entertain South Jersey youth, young adults and their families through quality performing arts experiences.
For 20 years, Learning Stages has provided the highest quality theater education programs for the children and young adults residing in South Jersey. Learning Stages has also provided a safe place for thousands of area residents to send their children to learn about the entire theater process. Through its unique curriculum, developed with New York University professor Joe Salvatore, one of the founders of the organization and a former New Jersey resident for 26 years, Learning Stages' members participate in all aspects of a theater production, from back stage to center stage.
Learning Stages teaching artists are former Broadway actors and have worked or been trained at educational institutions such as: New York University, Westminster Choir College/Rider University, The Richard Stockton College of NJ, and Rowan University.

The stage is not merely the meeting place of all the arts, but is also the return of art to life. -Oscar Wilde
